A Special Blend for Special Moments
A herbal smoking blend that promotes sexual pleasure was a must-do for us. For lots of people, smoking weed is an important part of sexual experiences. The research is very incomplete on this subject, thanks in large part to years of neglecting the topic due to prohibition. But from anecdotal experiences and self-reported surveys we know that lots of people like to smoke weed before they get off.
Why does weed promote sexual pleasure?
There are a few possible explanations. One is that smoking some strains of weed can decrease anxiety, which can help break down mental barriers that keep people from relaxing and enjoying themselves.
Cannabis is also a vasodilator, which means it opens blood vessels and increases blood flow. Better blood circulation through the body leads to improved sexual response. Yes please.
Blending with Ouid
If you are someone who experiences the benefits of increased sexual pleasure with cannabis, why not mix it with our Arouse blend? If the act of smoking itself is part of what turns you on, blending with Ouid will let that ritual last longer, because you can smoke more of a joint without getting too high. Blending with Ouid also lets you enjoy the biological effects of smoking weed (vasodilation etc.) while offsetting some of the psychoactive effects by decreasing the potency of your joint.
So what’s in there?
The herbs in our Arouse blend promote circulation and improve sensitivity. Let’s get to know them:
Lavender (lavandula angustifolia) is known and loved for its intoxicating fragrance and has been used for its hormone regulating, relaxing, and stress relieving properties. It’s been used for centuries to incite love, passion, attraction and sensuality and is still one of the most famous aphrodisiacs in the world.
Red Raspberry (rubus idaeus) is delicious but did you know the leaves have a long history as an important herbal medicine? Red Raspberry leaves help tone the female reproductive system, act as a stimulant, and support healthy circulation.
Damiana (turnea diffusa) has been used in Mexico, Central America, and South America since ancient times, and is widely known for its potent effects as an aphrodisiac, relaxant, and mood enhancer. Used to support circulation and stimulate a healthy libido, this herb is often smoked, burned as incense, or brewed as a tea or liquor.
Lemonbalm (melissa officinalis) is a lemon-scented plant with heart-shaped leaves that has been used as a mood enhancer and soother of heart and spirit. Its gentle action promotes relaxation and connection. In folk history it’s been used as a charm to attract lovers and bring out a person’s “inner god/goddess.”
